This arrangement relates not only to traditional Private Medical Insurance, but also to Cash Plans, which can now provide a genuine low cost alternative to ‘full’ Private Medical Insurance for start-up and smaller companies.  Cash Plans can also be used in conjunction with a traditional Private Medical Insurance Scheme with the result that the total cost to the employer is often reduced.
